Who do I Work With?

Who controls your life?

Your life IS being controlled. The good news is that you do get to control who's behind the wheel. You have three options.

1. Life's circumstances. Some folks just want to go with the flow, reacting on autopilot to whatever happens to them. This effectiveness of this laissez faire approach come down to fortune. The universe giveth and the universe taketh away. You may have a wonderful mentor and supportive family, or you may find yourself in a soul-sucking environment. Good luck!

2. Your Own Emotions. Some of us have no patience for the universe, no interest in letting others makes our decisions for us, and instead choose to hand control over to their emotions. This can be an effective strategy - at least for a while. Excitement, anger, and even shame and fear, can each be powerful motivators. Ultimately, this strategy will still leave us as a prisoner to whatever feelings our brain produces (including anxiety and depression) in any moment.

3. Your Values. This is the tough option. Selecting this captain inevitably carries the most challenges. There's no avoiding it, this path means DOING STUFF YOU DON'T WANT TO DO! You also forfeit the luxury of excuses. It's understandable why so few of us consistently choose this option.

The choice is yours. If you're tired of being dragged around by either circumstance or your own emotions, if you're ready to take charge of your own life . . . I may be able to help. You are the expert when it comes to your own life. I just happen to be pretty good at helping people figure out how to stop letting emotions and circumstances prevent themselves from living values-based lives.
